About her Art

PARISIAN FANTASIES

On a blue and green background, the colors of nature, I play with simple geometric elements which, together with the stylized shapes of the roofs of Paris, represent human construction over the centuries.
Can culture, the work of man, therefore grow without offending and destroying nature, but instead unfold in a fluid embrace, always creating new harmonies?

Adriana Tipaldi

In the aerial paintings of Adriana Tipaldi we do not find so much the real Paris, but rather a Paris of the soul: the gentle and crystalline purity of a metaphysical landscape, the antechamber of a Baudelairean Elsewhere where everything is "luxe, calme et volupté".
Painting as catharsis of the everyday, a true "invitation to the journey", clear and at the same time intense strokes of spiritual geometry that reflect a constantly alive inner light.

Prof. Silvio Raffo

IMPROBABLE PLACES

Improbable places, or perhaps impossible...
But I imagined them, or dreamed them, and I tried to depict them on canvas: also in these paintings, as in other previous series, I wanted to express my deep desire for a world in which nature, represented by a few stylized elements, animals, plants, simple blades of grass, coexists, without suffering any violence, with human culture.
The work of man is rendered by geometric shapes, a sort of pattern with volumetric scans that symbolize rationality, sometimes with images of pure white constructions, houses, little churches, improbable stairways that are lost in space.
Places where harmony reigns, without clashes, places where man, never depicted, loves and respects nature in all its manifestations.

Adriana Tipaldi

AMBIGUOUS SPACE

The reality she observes is broken down and recomposed, grasped for a moment and then lost in space, intensely lived or dreamed in a sensual abandonment...
In every painting Adriana Tipaldi conveys to us a strong tension towards the sky of becoming, which is colored with expectations, vibrations, tremors that come from distant roots, symbolized by the fullness of the fruit where everything finds its beginning. Which is also its end.
Memory and project, death and life, sea and sky merge in a distant blue...

Prof. Gaetano Matricardi
