About his Art

Born in Naples on October 12, 1959, but a resident of Tuscany for years, he attended art studies, is a great admirer of art and a keen observer of new techniques and new forms of expression. After attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, he sought new forms of expression in painting and his own expressive dimension: he attended the studios of many Roman artists in order to experiment and create new techniques. Thus, at the beginning of the new century, as a good self-taught artist, he developed his own technique to create collages that are unalterable over time. The technique is very personal, involving almost painstaking preparation of both the support and the choice of paper clippings and other materials such as: enamels, acrylic paints, oil colors, lead. The pastes of oil colors or acrylics are modified to assume an unexpected plasticity so that they can be used almost as a ductile and moldable material. Each individual creation requires a long period of gestation and preparation in order to create effects of three-dimensionality and depth. For this purpose, many of his works have numerous layers, all of which are then crystallized and protected by a varnish that is absolutely unalterable over time. The artist has participated in many group exhibitions throughout Italy. He is present on Facebook with the account Ca San.
