ABOUT HER PAINTING

Since I was a child, my life has been spent among brushes and colors. I studied alongside prominent masters in Bs.As. from 1982, learning different techniques: oil, drawing, watercolor, acrylic, mixed techniques, and sumi-e (Japanese ink wash); and later, in Santiago de Chile, I deepened my training at Professor Stichkin's Academy. I participated in workshops in São Paulo, Brazil, and in Spain.

For various family reasons, I have lived in very different countries: in my art, this influence can be seen as a true example of current globalization, representing Latin American metaphysical and colorist realism. As an artistic project, I aim to represent, through almost realistic figuration, metaphysical aspects by means of different moments of light and color, employing the focus typical of Eastern culture. Themes: landscape in all its genres and still life, without the human presence: it is present in the act of arranging or leaving objects immersed in a certain atmosphere. I try to provoke in the viewer the sensation of contemplating, meditating, and entering into the work.

Exhibitions: since 1986 in Argentina, Germany, Chile, Brazil, Spain, Japan.

Teaching activity in Spain and Chile.

Collaboration and illustration for specialized Argentine magazines.

Lectures and research projects in various universities (Spain and Chile).

My works are found in institutions and private collections in Argentina, Germany, USA, Spain, and Chile.
