Her Biography
The Artist lives in Rome where she attended the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma “Rome University of Fine Arts” and various studios of Master artists, with whom she was able to deepen her study of the human figure and broaden her sensitivity to colors, which would lead her to express herself through a universe made of intense colors but endowed with expressive delicacy.
At the beginning of her journey as a painter, she attended the Romacreat School of Contemporary Art in the heart of Rome, directed by Maestro Oliviero Leonardi. During her period of study with the Maestro, she painted exclusively in oil on canvas and experimented with the intensity of line and color with its infinite variations of tone, which she still expresses in her paintings today.
Another decisive encounter was with the painter Marta Cilento, a student of Maestro Beppe Assenza, who guided her to experiment with watercolor techniques and to deepen her study of colors through the layering of delicate glazes. It was during this period that the lightness of her chromaticism, through plays of light and shadow, gave life to delicate and nuanced pictorial works in many colors, laid on paper and canvas with a harmony that arises from a meditative act.
She deepened her pictorial art not only in Italy, through seminars on color held by Donald Hall, Director of the Free School of Anthroposophical Painting in Bolzano, but also at the Visual Arts Sections of the Anthroposophical Society in Sweden and Switzerland, where she was able to refine her creative and pictorial sensitivity.
She attended the studio of Maestro Alessandro Trotti and followed his lessons, which enriched her artistic journey at a particular moment in her artistic life that required further change.
She attended the engraving school and received training in Art Therapy at Psico&Art in Rome. For years she has also devoted herself to sculpture, which fascinates her as much as painting.
Through her canvases, she seeks to give expression to the loneliness and melancholy that accompany her in her existential search, but also to the joy and delicate sensitivity in seeking the true authentic beauty that moves everything and that nourishes her painting through her bright and luminous colors, an expression of great vitality and freedom from any expressive conditioning. Along with the many colors, the lines and strokes of the marks skillfully traced with care by the artist, draw on canvas or paper with broad gestures, moods and deep emotions that belong to each of us. Even the human figure, when represented, is enveloped by the marks and colors laid across the entire canvas to remind us that our human existence is not separate or detached from what surrounds us, but united in order to evolve.
She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, in Italy and abroad, and has received various awards and recognitions for her journey in artistic research.
Works on permanent display at Galleria RiBella (Viterbo), Pocket Art (Rome), Galleria Della Tartaruga (Rome).
