Her Biography

She was born and lives in Corchiano, a small town in the province of Viterbo. She has a degree in psychology and has been working as a psychotherapist for years. Always attracted to the most varied forms of art and expressive communication, she only approached the world of painting as an adult, attending a visual arts school for several years and experimenting with multiple painting techniques, until she found in portraiture the expressive form most akin to her. Firmly convinced of the link between creativity and the psyche, through the faces in her works she seeks not a mere reproduction of reality, but rather that balance or imbalance characteristic of the human being. Aware that art is a subtle representation of the soul, although fascinated by the technical virtuosity of hyperrealism, she seeks a more instinctive stroke that has greater spiritual resonance for her. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions. In particular, for three consecutive years at the festival of figurative art and hyperrealism, winning first prize in the "local artists" section.
